After a rapid rise that saw Revv process almost $400,000,000 across 5,800,000 donations in the last 24 months while accumulating almost 450 customers and growing – Revv is now the market leader for US political campaigns. Revv’s expanded team is now poised to capture even more market share in the rapidly-growing nonprofit, personal, political and corporate online donation spaces.

Revv’s next phase of growth will be led by incoming CEO Carl Sceusa and newly-appointed CTO Kyle Schutt.

Revv also announced the following staff additions:

  • Sikandar Shukla, previously CTO for Revv, becomes Vice President of Engineering.
  • Mikael Davis, previously a developer for WeddingWire, joins Revv as Full Stack Engineer.
  • Jordan Flaig, previously User Experience Director for Independent Journal Review joins Revv as UX Director.

“Revv’s growth has been astronomical over the last two years,” said Revv President and co-founder Gerrit Lansing. “Our technology was used by six different presidential campaigns in 2016 and therefore tested at enormous, national scale. Our platform helped drive record-breaking online fundraising while simultaneously introducing us to dozens of amazing causes in the nonprofit world. It’s exciting to usher in Revv’s next phase of growth with this new talented team lead by Carl, Kyle and Sikandar. Stay tuned for what’s next.”

New CEO Carl Sceusa was most recently CTO for IMGE, a leading digital technology and marketing company where he lead creation of platforms and technology used by Fortune 50 companies and advocacy groups. Sceusa previously served as CTO for Media Group of America, where he was a key player contributing to its explosive growth since its founding in 2012. His prior experience includes pioneering online fundraising strategies and tactics for national political committees.

“I’m ecstatic to lead the best fundraising technology in the market,” said new CEO Carl Sceusa. “Revv’s current market advantage – thanks to its inventive and often-emulated features – along with over 1 million one-click users is only the beginning. Revv’s future couldn’t be brighter thanks to our amazing team – and we will continue to be a leading innovator in the rapidly growing online payments industry.”

Kyle Schutt joined Revv in January 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer to help architect, scale, secure and optimize Revv’s application suite and development processes. With his background in Computer Science and as a doctoral candidate, Kyle brings a blend of academic and applied knowledge through his work with other startups, both small and large businesses, and government in a wide-range of industries.

Sikandar Shukla engineered the entire Revv MVP, later leading the team of developers as the product grew. Sik built robust apps for clients from a variety of industries including hedge funds and photo agencies during his previous experiences as a software consultant for digital agencies like IB5k in New York.

Mikael Davis is a full-stack web developer specializing in front-end development with React.js. He’s coming to Revv from WeddingWire, where he spent three years working on various features for small business owners and engaged couples. During his time there, he developed a strong passion for inclusive design and building team culture that encourages diversity and drives business value.

Jordan Flaig comes to Revv from Independent Journal Review (UX) and previously IMGE (UI/UX), IntuFit (web design), and Spinnakr (graphic design). He’s spent the past decade designing experiences for political campaigns, web-based applications, corporate branding, editorial products, and mobile interfaces.
